I have noticed a creaking noise coming from the front end when I steer the car into tight spaces or when turning at slow speeds. I know that many of this model car have had tie end rod problems but could this be a CV Boot?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation.

A faulty CV will click under load your noise is more a dry ball joint, tie rod end or top bearing plate in the strut, these are not greasable (modern cars!!!) so if one is found to be faulty it will have to be replaced, your mechanic should be able to pin point this with a test drive, start here.
