I have a 99 chrysler 300 m and I am surprised at the fuel consume in city.
10 miles per gallon or 23 L for 100 km. Hugeeee.
i verified the air filter. Is good. What can I check. Maybe to change the oil. Also I have a rather small hole because there was a stone on the street and braked the last part of the exhaust system underneath.I added some special glue on it but don't know. Can it be from the catalyst?Thank you all.

forgot to mention. The car was just verified for the yearly car verification and it had no problems. As well as in the past 4 years. That's why I am very curios what can be wrong.I drive very nice and don't abuse on the car power. The engine is v6 2.7

Hi:
The O2 sensor can cause poor mileage. Also, a clogged catylatic converter can do the same. When was the last tune up?

An oil chance won't help mileage but should be done every 3K miles.
