After driving there is a gas smell in my garage. I have also noticed this gas smell inside the car while driving. Any ideas? Since the minivan is older, I am not wanting to spend thousands attempting a fix. Is this something that can easily be found and repaired?

Could be due to failure of the fuel vapor recovery canister or its hoses. Most likely place to start if you do not actually see any fuel leaks. :)
