1998 chevy s-10, manual, 4 cylinder, 151K miles. When I turn the ignition on, my truck tries to crank, you can hear it trying to crank but it just won't start up. Everything electrical seems to be working. What could the problem be?

Hi there

Check main battery terminal & earth terminal are clean and tight. Check main power cable at starter clean and tight. Check for 12V at solenoid at starter when key turned to start (small wire at starter) If all this is correct then the starter motor is faulty.
