2001 chevy impala battery light

i have been having problems with my battery light keep on coming on well i have changed my battery and i also have changed my alternator and it still seems to come on.Bbut now when i am driving the battery light will come on and my clock in my car as well as my head lights starts blinking on and off.

The first check is to verify that your alternator is good in the car. Check across the battery terminals with the car running, you should have between 13.5 and 14.7 volts.

If not, before you replace the alternator, check all grounds. remove and CLEAN battery to frame, battery to engine and engine to firewall.

Check the alternator wires at the connections. Often times a burned connection will upset the charging system. Good luck
