1996 Chevy Truck auto tranny not allowing truck to Move

1996, chev 4 wheel drive, \ put in k1500, recent issues was radiator leaking new one PUT IN, TRANSMISSION LINE SPRUNG A LEAK, RADIATOR CAP LEAKD 2 DAYS AFTER THAT, no high pressure of visable leakage normally, temp gage never over 190, degrees, will not go into reverse or drive, fluid looks full and goood, will not go in to park unless I shut off truck or grinding noise happens puttin in to park, while truck is running, any suggestions?

Hi there,

The grinding noise is a dead giveaway that something drastic has occurred internal of the transmission, time to get it to a transmission specialist for a test and report as they will have the specialist equipment to do the required tests to determine the exact cause of your problem.
