1994 gmc blazer transmission

Would like to know from what make chevy/gmc I could change my 94 blazers trans.Got a 87/88? s15 would that work? 94 blazer is a 4.3 liter auto

what size motor is the 87,8? if its a 4.3 also theres a real good chance it will.

blazer,jimmy,same thing,just diffrent name badges.(they come off the same line just the build sheet is diffrent.) you should be able to tell just by looking.gm is notorious for not changing things.
