1988 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My transmission (700r4) in my 88 chevy truck is shot. I have a 92 chevy c 20 van with a (700r4?) Transmissiion. Are the two interchangeable? Need help!

Sounds stupid but measure them, call a junkyard for interchange info tell them you are looking for a trans for your truck and they will tell you any vehicle that you can use for a trans(interchangable parts.(Call pick n pull or riverside auto salvage in st louis on hall street)they can help you with that info
