1992 Chevy S-10 Pickup

I have a chevy S-10 pickup. When you get in the car there are lights and the headlights turn on. The minute you turn the key in the ignition the whole car loses all power. Does any one know what might causing this to occur?

Either your, ground is loose, or your positive is, there is enough contact to light your lights and accessories, but as soon as you hit that starter, it draws down everything, due to a poor connection, check those batt. Cables, end to end.
