This is odd and I have asked everyone sometimes my truck starts and sometimes it does not. Have had multiple people look at it the fuel pump has been replaced the ignition module has been replace but sometime it just will not start and others it runs great it will crank sometimes the fuel pump cuts on and sometimes it does not. Please can you give me any ideas

Have you positively determined the fuel pump is quitting? How did you do that?
Is this a Vortec or a TBI?

You need to use a fuel pressure gauge and get some positive answers of what the pump is doing.
You could have a bad fuel pump relay. When the relay is bad you won't get the 2 second prime but it will eventually get power through the oil pressure switch but not until after oil pressure builds up.
