I recently installed a new alternator and new battery due to some previous problems. Truck ran fine for 2 weeks.

Last couple days the battery light has been flashing and I have noticed some power surges in the truck. Today the truck started with some effort, ran for 5 minutes and quit runnnin. Now the truck will not start or even turn over. Battery is still good. Any Ideas?

Double check the battery, its probably dead now. Also double check the connections at the battery, sounds like a loose connection. Also check for power at the fat wire at the rear of alternator
