My car will idie in park but when you put it into drive or reverse and hit the gas it either dies out or after you get going it backfires and acts like it wants to die or sometimes it does die. We put spark plugs wires and a o2 sensor on also 2 coil packs on this car the car has a lot of miles but I just had a new cam and timing gears installed on it I had the garage check the injector and he said it was fine. Since we had this car the check engine light has stayed on. If you have any ideas on it please let me know miles is 204000

Check your throttle body position sensor and double check that the timing was done properly. Sounds like something is a bit off.
