2004 Chevy Trailblazer Remote locks

I had a viper remote start put in a year ago. A couple times a month, when I remote lock the door, it makes a ding sound repeatedly until I hit the unlock button and then the lock button again. Any ideas? Thanks!

When the remote was used to lock the vehicle, does all the door locks correctly? Problem seems to indicate one of the sensor is not providing the correct signal intermittently.

The keyless entry system can be checked/tested with the aid of diagnostic equipments and I believe that is the best way to go about diagnosing the problem.
