I left the car running overnight (long story). The next morning I put more gas in and started it. A huge cloud of black smoke and moist residue (the residue left a mark on the ground) from the tail pipe. Engine will run but it is VERY rough and when you put it in gear it feels like it has little to no power.
I am a novice when it comes to engines!
Did I ruin this car?
P.S. - Imade a donation on Friday 4/6/2007.

Sorry for the late responce. Remove the egr valve and check if the vavle is closed, if not replace the valve. Next they had big problems with the fuel pressure regulator, the diafram ruptures and allows gas to enter the intake manifold. Last check the fuel pressure to see what pressure it is at. Please let me know, I will work with you untill fixed.

I believe that these also have an EGR controller that is knowk to go bad. It has the vacuum lines and an electrical connector to it.
