I changed my oil today in my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. After I changed my oil I turned the car on got pressure and checked the dip stick and was good on oil. For some reason my oil pressure gauge keeps going up and staying steady when I drive but when I stop or slow down the pressure gauge moves. It has never done this. I looked under the car to see if any oil hand leaked from the filter or the bolt but there was nothing. What could be the problem?

Hi there,

This may just be a faulty sender unit, to be safe, have the oil pressure tested with a master gauge, this will give a true indication of oil pressure, do this and report back if there is a problem with the readings.
