Why would my Oil Pressure guage start to flutuate from 0 - 60 PSI while driving? The Oil is full. Sometimes it will stay at 40PSI.

Is this also known as a Fuel Pump Oil Pressure Switch and Sender.

Tahoebob02, The oil pressure sending unit is wired in series with the fuel pump. If the oil pressure drops to zero, the fuel pump will shut off, thus shuting off the engine. I never heared the oil pressure sending unit called the "fuel pump oil pressure switch and sender"--but I guess you could call it that.
