2000 Chevy Tahoe does not start

It sound like it what to start and when you get it started it run very rough and dies but if you keep you foot on the gas it will stay running and is not rough but soon you take your foot off the gas it dies.

Sounds like a vaccum leak or an intake leak. Make sure all hoses are on and tight, especialy the intake plentum. Check and make sure the pcv valve is working and connected. Check the o-gasket where the air intake plentum connects to the throttle body.
Is that 10,000miles or 100,000 miles?
