Engine Performance problem
1998 Chevy Tahoe 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 90K miles

Bart here, when starting up, engine will start but will not stay running. On my second startup the engine usually stays running.? I have had a tuneup and it still does the same thing? On first cold start of the day the engine always starts and stays lit. Thank you for your time in this matter. Bart

Welcome to the forum. My info appeared to show a v8? I'd use a gage and check fuel pressure, first thing of a morning, key on engine off. If you don't have a gage, some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. If you have the spider fuel system, you might try some injector cleaner, don't know if it will help?
