I had the windshield on my 2007 suburban and now the rain sensing wipers do not work. It appears to be put back right. When they took the old windshield off, it had a gel pack where the sensor went, not sure if the new one had this. If this is the problem, where can I get the gel pack. I have been gone, so it has been several months since they replaced it.

It could be something with the way they removed the sensor or the way thy installed it. Did a dealer have the winshield installed? I would recomend taking it to the dealer have have it checked out. You say the gel is missing? That makes me think it is not the correct windshield. The winshield would come with that part installed on it and you just transfer the moisture sensor lens assembly over.

The info you see below is from GM.....

If it is necessary to replace the vehicle's windshield, order and install a new moisture sensitive lens to the new windshield. Transfer the old sensor from the old windshield. Refer to Windshield Outside Moisture Sensor Lens Replacement in SI. (Please be sure to order the correct windshield. The mounting bracket for the Rainsense™ sensor will already be present on the correct windshields.)
