My SUV was broken into and the thieves ripped the after-market stereo out of the dashbaoard, obviously pulling essential wiring out of place. Now my instrument panel doesn't work at all (incl speedometer, odometer, gas gauge, oil pressure gauge etc. It's all not operating. My climate contolls are also not functioning, my ignition is sticking so it makes it hard to start and turn off and worse of all, an indicator bell under my dash, located in a black box with three plugs full of various colored wires, will not turn off. I starts when I travel more than five mph and stops when I come to a stop. How much damage is there, how much would you estimate the repairs will cost? All the other electrical system, lights, turn signals, horn, starter, wipers all seem to work fine.

Hi there,

with out seeing the damage first hand it is a bit hard to know, but you may be looking at about 3 hrs for an auto electrician to tidy up the damage it may be a little more or less, but your not looking at days.
