1995 Chevy Suburban startup problems

I get fire to the distributor initially, then no spark. What would cause this?

Check to see if you are getting fire from the coil constantly. Could be a issue with distributor. But more likely it is coil. Check for spark directly from the coil to elminate lots of other components.

Are you getting +12v constantly at coil?
