2006 Chevy Silverado Hot air

At times, the driver side vents blow ' heater hot' air with the AC running. The passenger vents will continue with cool air. Kill the engine, and restart, the AC works normally again. I have disconnected the battery in an attempt to 're-set' the computer.
This worked for a couple of weeks, but the problem is back and will occur two or three times a day.
Driving me nuts. Please help.

I'm having the exact same problem except my truck is a 2004 and has 172,000 miles. Been doing it for at least 25,000 of those miles. Any input would be helpful, thank you.

Novice,
I feel your pain. It's hot like hell here in Texas.
If you haven't tried the 're-boot' with the battery
disconnect, it seems to last longer. I hoped one of these 'gurus' would have chimed in by now.
If I find the cure, I will post and hope you will do the same. Thanks.

Ive been dealing whith the same ting mines stii warrentied but the dealership cant figure it out but ive looked on this site at similar problems and it looks like the blend door actuitor im taking it back in tommorow and I will let u guys know what happens

Ricko,
Please respond if you find a solution. The guys here think it has to do with the actuator as well.
I don't know, as I have had good luck lately with only two 'resets' since I posted, and just can't be off the payroll at present. Many thanks for the reply.
