I have a 03 Chevy Silverado and when you go up to 60 the odometer will go back down to 0 and stay there and when you go above 60 it will go up to 120 and stay there, so you never know what speed you are driving. I had a new odometer put in and still the same thing is happening. Any ideas on what could cause this.

You had the dash cluster assembly replaced and it does the exact same thing? Does the transmission shift correctly? Is the check engine light on? Get back to us

Yes, replaced the dash cluster assembly, the transmission does shift fine, the engine light has not been on, there are no codes just nothing, everything works great on this truck except for the odometer problem.

Ok. No odometer but no check engine light means the sensor on the trans is working and we are getting a signal to the pcm but are losing it to the dash cluster. Now it can be either a control module failure or wiring issue.
