All of my other gauges are working but the gas gauge is not. When you turn on the key, it moves from the bottom a little but it never comes up from to the top to let me know how much gas I have. What is the problem and how do I correct it. And the biggest question of all. How much will it cost me to fix it. Thank you so much. Lynn

You should have a gauge sweep test done on the cluster. If it checks ok, your problem is likely a bad fuel level sensor in the tank.

So if you ground the sender wire it should go down from the full line, if not then the stepper motor in gas gauge is bad. Here is the color in the wiring harness so you can cut it and then ground it to see if anything changes, if the gauge goes to 0 the sender is bad which is common as well. Dark blue is the color of the wire.
