Hello,
It sounds like this issue could be due to dirty idle air control valve and or throttle body.
Since this vehicle has been sitting for extended period of time, there is a good chance it will have dirt and debris buildup inside idle air control valve.
It will be a good idea to a cleanup on those components.
Many times, simple cleaning can improve the drivability.

You also want to make sure that there are no vacuum leaks. Look for any dry rotted hoses or broken connectors.
