mileage: 202000
Transmission: automatic with overdrive.
engine size: 305 V8

I have been experiencing some odd things lately with the tranny. I drive on the thruway / freeway alot, and @ approx. 65 miles mph, the speedo needle starts to ping from 65 mph to 80 mph and back again.
It seems to just go crazy. During this action, the truck feels like it is going to "Die", and then picks back up to speed and continues. Sometimes this happens once to three times per day. Any answers !

There should be a plug on the transmission drain pan.
Remove it, drain the fluid, replace the plug gasket, install the plug. Through the dipstick hole add a quart and check the fluid, add more as needed until level is good. Should be less than 3 quarts needed. You should use honda fluid.
