I have a 1994 350 Chevy 1/2 ton step side silverado pick up. I hosed the engine will running and it died. I tried and tried to start but no luck. I removed carb cover poured a little gas in carb and it stated and ran a few seconds. How would I check the electric fuel pump in the gas tank if that is the problem? Or do you think it may be electrical. Please advise.

I have seen this happen when people use high pressure washers to clean their engine.
Water will get into electronics, the intake, and from there to the combustion chamber.
Your best bet, since it is almost running, is to go and buy some, "DRY GAS" at your local parts store. It eats up and eliminates water. Since the engine almost ran your electronics are probably fine. I have seen this happen and the vehicle will start the next day since the water dries off.
The one things that you might check is under the distributor cap, ( I think you have one. The 1994 were a cutoff years when solid state ignitions came out).

I will keep an eye on this post and if you need further assistance.
