Fuel in oil

I have a 2000 chevy s10 6 cylinder standard. Gas is getting in my oil, comming out of the exhaust, any idea why? My garage just charged me $1000 to replace an injector, manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, miscellaneous seals and gaskets, the fuel meter body and plugs, this didn't fix anything, please help, I can't afford to get ripped off again

Are you sure it's gas? Not likly gas would get that far without your muffler exploding! Condensation, or water will come out at a good clip at times tho!

I have seen the fuel pressure regulator go out and cause this problem, here is the location so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
