First off my truck seems to have no power when the key is inserted no lights or anything im pretty sure the battery is dead but it is only a couple of months old and very expensive but even when you hook jumper cables up the power comes on but when you try and start it it only stays running for about 1 second ever time you try and start it thinking it could be a clogged fuel filter but could really use some advice

The first thing you ave to do is resolve the battery issue. Everything depends on having he proper voltage. Charge the old battery and have it tested, then have the charging system tested if the car starts.
