Air Conditioning problem
2003 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 89.000 miles

My air conditioner works sometimes.It will turn on right away most of the time then for no reason,just start blowing warm air.Then maybe a few minutes later it will come back on.Sometimes if I turn it off and turn it back on it will work again but not always.Then sometimes it will take a few minutes to start working when I first turn it on.Can you suggest what it might be I would sure appreciate it .Thank you.

does the fan stay on all the time or is that what is cutting out. or does it blow warm air sometimes then cold air. Can you give me a better description?

I'm sorry it took so long to get back...the fan i'm not so sure about.Is there an ac fan that kicks on?.I know that the ac motor knicks off and on.It blows cold air most of the time than it will blow warm air sometimes.Thank you for taking time for my problem.

Im still not understanding your question. the fan inside the vehicle that you feel with your defrost. does that shut off. when it changes temputer, does the AC compressor on the engine become disengauged.
