Hi
I just finished replacing the timing chain tensioner(3rd time). I still have noise coming from the timing chain cover. It sounds like there is to much slack in the timing chain making it bang against the cover and breaking the tensioner. This is the third tensioner in 60,000 miles. A clovis tensioner was used. Have you seen anything like this and what can be done?
Thanks

By gudes I mean there is plastic guides that rub against the front of chain and one on the tensioner side. Replace them both
