1999 Chevy S-10 wont start

My truck sounds like it wants to start, but wont, I know its not the starter or fuel pump, what else would cause truck to sound same as when does start but it wont turn over?

Main question. Are you getting spark. If not I can give you a lot of advice. Do you know how to check for spark?
