-- "1999 Chevy s10 pick up. After driving for awhile. The the temp gauge red lined and the heater was blowing cold air. What do you think could be the problem?

Is the coolant full? Have you checked the thermostat? Also, when was the last time the cooling system was flushed or serviced? Have you noticed any leaks?
