Hi there,

The ignition timing is set by the ECU and there's no manual adjustment, if you have a tune related problem, post your concerns and we can look into it a bit further for you.

One way to watch the timing is to find tdc on compression stroke (but not necessary) make two marks, one on vibration dampner and one to the block or somewhere convienent. Line them up and start the engine and watch with a timing light.

Increase throttle and you should see the time advance more for higher rpms.

The ecu will start the timing and then the computer will take over, using crankshaft and camshaft sensor info for the best possible spark time.
