I have a 1994 s10, it's a year change and new body change. it takes alot of 93 parts. I have replaced motor, starter, cap, wires, pluggs, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch kit, exhaust etc. I cluldnt get the slave cylinder to bleed( went through two slave cylinders) Once i finally did, my through out bearing is now whining. I can't find out what clutch to buy? I originaly purchased one for a 1994, 94-95 take the same clutch. I think it may take a 93. But yet they both have the same discription(11;spline 1-1/8 teeth, 10 release bearing) My question to whom ever is: whats the difference between the two different year call outs for clutch kits? And how do i know which one to purchase? Ive been working on it for a year now and have never got to drive it, Have invested way to much to turn back or sell it.

I don't have the cross reference info you need. Do you still have the original clutch to compare it to? Also, a whining noise doesn't sound like a pressure plate but rather a throw out bearing. Does the clutch work at all? Was there any problem installing it? You may need to contact the dealer with the manufacturing date to get the correct one.

Let me know.
