My truck broke down, believe that the shaft going into transmission is twisted off. Will not move in any gear. It has 276,000 miles on it and has been around the block a couple times! Not sure if its worth fixing, my boyfriend has started taking it apart but hasn't reached the heart of the matter yet. The body is in so so shape and we have replaced normal things here and there, alt, pwer steer pump etc. But the nickle and diming thing seems to be going on. Not sure what to do, or even how much the parts are going to cost. What do you think?
Thank You

Hi:
This is a hard questions to answer without knowing what is wrong and not seeing and knowing the vehicle. If it has been a good vehicle and not too expensive to repair, ask yourself if you can replace it for the same price and what you will get for your money. This thing has a lot of miles on it and I'm sure you will have other problems, but you can have problems with anything.
