Truck runs great till winter. Will not start in the morning if the temp is 30 or below. After the temp warms up truck runs great. Had it put on computer machine couldn't find any thing wrong. It Is fuel injected.

Have the coolant temperature sensor tested and also the fuel system pressure and comeback with the test results.

Will not start in the morning if the temp is 30 or below. Does the engine crank over easily or drag during cranking-

Try doing this during that temperature-shoot some carb. Cleaner thru the throttle body and see whether it'll fire up if so-we're right back with fuel pressure.

Cold start problem is mostly fuel related issue.

I got the truck to start at 18 degrees by putting a small electric heater in the cab. Got up early and tried to start the truck and a no go. I turned on the heater and left it till the cab got warm and she fired right up. Any Idea what and where a sensor would be that causes that? I guess I better buy up a couple more of the small heaters to get me through the winter. And make sure I can plug up the truck where ever I go!

Well the truck came out of Fla. Maybe it trying to tell me something! I had the service man check the computer out. He had it out on the floor for a couple days. He said there was only two moving parts in it but he couldn't tell if anything was wrong with it. He hooked it up to his computor tester and couldn't find anything wrong any where. I have already replaced everything I heard of on it already and I was at my wits end when I took it to the service man. He couldn't come up with any reason either. I may just see about getting a new computor for the truck anyway. It runs great all year till cold weather. It looks good and is perfect for what I do with it. But it is about to cost more than its worth.
