Transmission problem
1988 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Automatic
my s-10 when I took it on a test drive it doesnt go past 30mphs and it also takes a really long time to shift to a higher gear I checked all the fluids

Check the exhaust system for restriction could be the catalytic converter clogged-up, also check and test the knock sensor, MAP and TPS sensors.

I asked acouple people what they thought I havent checked yet wat u asked me to check but do u think it sounds like the transmission is going out or anything like that. Thank u for the help

If everything I've mentioned earlier was checked out and tested good that will cause severe hesistation/acceleration your transmission is slipping to find out what's going on with it-get it pressure tested by a reputable tranny shop
