Turn signal/brake light problem

I have a 1995 Chevy Beretta and noticed the other day that the brake light and turn signal on the rear driver's side weren't working. I changed the bulb (even though it didnt look blown) and it didn't fix it. The fuses were all fine as well. The front signals work and the right rear lights work. What could be the problem?

Thanks for the reply! :D In answer to your questions: The tail light does work on the driver's side. The turn signal switch used to not work. I actually had it fixed recently (well, almost fixed). I had to manually flash the turn signals before. Since it's been fixed, they don't always shut off when I make the turn. You just may have something there. Maybe there's another problem with it! I don't know that much about this stuff. If it is in fact the turn signal switch causing the problem, the lights can stop working in just one area like that? I will check the wiring as well. Fun stuff, I tell ya! Thanks for your help!
