Sluggish when cold

I have a 1987 Chevy Truck it has a new 350 engine with throttle body injection. I have put new headers on and the truck is now sluggish when the engine is cold. After warming the truck runs great. I have been told that a heated O2 sensor will fix the problem, but will it create problems for the computer?

It is more a issue of the engine coolant temp sensor. Heated lambda sensors are just for extra guages. You aren't running rich enough and given the age of your truck its a cheap 12 dollar guess over a $50 02 sensor and if the 12 dollar guess doesn't fix it you just won't have to worry about it.
