I have a chevy dually 3500 that wont start...When the problem first started the truck would not start unless the fuel pump kicked on, then eventually the fuel pump quit coming on.Took the truck to the garage to have the fuel pump replaced, he said that the fuel pump is fine..The truck cranks but there is no fire is what the mechanic says and he cant figure it out..says it might be the main computer, but i find that hard to believe. Do you have any suggestions as to what it might be?

I would check fuel pressure at the fuel rail as well as spark. If the check engine light isn't on, then you can pretty much rule out an emission related component causing the non-start and concentrate on those two.
