I just put on some front disc brakes on my 1971 Chevy Nova. Brakes still work, but now I have to push the brake pedal to the floor in order to stop. I bled the brakes many times, but the outcome was still the same. How can I re-adjust the brake pedal so that I don't have to push the pedal all the way to the floor? Or will I have to do something else?

check the callipers to see if one is binding up. Take the car out where there is not anybody around or any building and do a power stop, You don't have to go that fast about 15 to 20. You will feel it in the steering wheel if one of the front brakes is binding up as the wheel will pull to the opposite side.
