Thebest thing to rest theengine and oil light is have a garage rest them. You can try to rest the computer by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then re-connect it. The computer will not completly reset until it is driven about 50 miles. If the engine light comes back on then have the car scanned for trouble codes.
