If I had a battery that wasn't made for my vehicle but fit in it and he'd more volts then needed. Would it make it not start when I turned the key?

If the battery fit in but doesn't have the cca correct- that's cold cranking amps would make it not start. If it was a 14 volt battry into a 12 volt system it would work but you may burn some things out including your computer. But the car would still turn over if it had enough juice in it. It's probably not enough amps to turn the engine over. At least get the correct battery
