Hey guys, great website here, my question is My g/f got up last week to start her car and it didnt crank over jumped it it ran for about 15 min and then died again. Took out the alternator and had it checked by autozone, it was faulty. Also replaced the battery too. Got a new alternator got it tested before I installed it and it worked fine. Drove for about 1.5 days fine and then when she stopped at my mothers house it wouldnt start again. Took the alternator and battery out again and had them checked battery was dead and they charged it again and both were still fully functional. I'm wondering what you folks would recommend checking next, could there be a short somewhere or what?

its a 3.1 litre also.
thanks alot.

If the alt is good, the only thing I can think of is the wire that runs from the alt to the battery. It is a fuseable link and can go bad not allowing the battery to receive a charge. Check the wire for continunity. If it doesn't have it, replace it.
