How to find a leak in the coolant hoses? I suppose you could just watch. I was curious if there is a faster way to do this? And when draining the radiator is it kind of like changing the oil? What usualy causes the coolant to leak?

you can have the system pressure tested by a mechanic. There should be a drain valve on the bottom side of the radiator for draining the coolant. Just drain it and fill it with a 50/50 coolant water mix.
