1995 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 95 chevy monte carlo and one day it died on me while driving and wouldnt start back until I got a jump so I replaced the battery and same day it died again. So I got a new alternator and it still does the same thing, what could it be?

You say it just "died" was it running and quit or did you turn it off then would not restart?

I actually found the problem it was actually the cable that runs from the battery to the starter was cut, so it wasnt making the alternator do its job
