Air Conditioning problem
2005 Chevy Malibu Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles

I recently took my car by a trusted mechanic and he said that the air conditioning problem was a controller problem and he has replaced two recently, both 2005 Malibu Classics. Is there a recall and is this problem prevelent across the board for 2005 Chevy Malibu's?

You can call your local dealer and ask, but I dont think there is.

If General Motors shows you as the owner of the vehicle, you would receive a letter notifying you of a recall. If you bought the car used, ask a dealer to run you VIN for any outstanding recalls.
