2002 Chevy Malibu head gasket

My 2002 chevy mailibu has a head gasket problem. I have been having problems starting it, and while driving the car will die and I have to restart it. Now it wont start at all and I was told the motor needs to be replaced. My motor is covered under warrenty, if I get a new motor does this include a head gasket because they said seals and gaskets are not covered, but said it is all one part.

It all should be, call the place that has the warranty and ask them, they can tell you whats under warranty
