2001 Chevy Malibu New engine

I have an 2001 chevy malibu. Its has 124xxx miles on it. I just had an used engine put in I just got back my car and the check engine light is going off and on. Could you please help me or give me some advice.

I would take it back to the people who installed the engine. That light can come on for approx 127 different reasons. If it flashing rapidly it can cause damage to other components.
